With a French Chef and Belgian Manager, the Boathouse brings some continental flair to Topsham, through dishes inspired from afar but created with the best of local produce. The Boathouse offers breakfast, lunch and evening menus that promise exceptional quality and value. The Boathouse is fully licensed, too, offering a range of wine, gins, cocktails and more! So whether for an impromptu drink, lunch with friends, or to celebrate an occasion, it’s the place to drop in.
Opened in 2017, the Boathouse has been a true labour of love for owner Paul Puddiphatt, who restored the lower level of his home back to its long forgotten commercial roots.
The café-crêperie is managed by Lizzie, who has a passion for nutritious, attractive food and a determination to offer dish excellence to vegans, vegetarians, cake-lovers, crêpe-connoisseurs and everyone in between!
In 2018, Raph joined the team as Head Chef, bringing exceptional skills, creativity and a special ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ to the Boathouse.
In addition to being open throughout the day, The Boathouse is now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-9 to enjoy a special new evening menu. The atmosphere is great, the lights get dimmed, and the wine flows just that little bit faster.
