6 – 22 March – Graze in The GlassHouse
From Tuesdays to Thursdays, diners can choose from a menu of 12-14 small, original and delicious plates of food costing £6.50 each. The menu celebrates the fruits of the Devon coastline: fresh day-boat catch and local meat fed on the salty landscape.

22 March – Spring Forward Saturday
Come celebrate the start of Spring in Topsham: all (or most) of the town’s many independent businesses will be offering special promotions, discounts, tastings and more.

 4 – 5 April – Guest chef evening with Jamie Raftery at The Salutation Inn
With 18 years cooking alongside some of the world’s best chefs (Thomas Keller, Heston Blumenthal, Gordon Ramsay, Michael Caines, Marcus Wareing), West Ireland born Jamie Raftery will combine extensive experience with his passion for nutrition. The five-course menu has been specially crafted for the two-day event and will feature Jamie’s creative cuisine inspired by macrobiotic and ayurvedic philosophies. Paired alongside the dishes will be a superbly matched biodynamic wine flight. £85 per person.

 20 – 21 June – Solstice wine dinner at The Salutation Inn
Celebrate mid-summer with a 45-minute boat trip along the River Exe with sparkling wine and canapés, before heading back to The Salutation for a lavish dinner. The five-course tasting menu is matched by a wine flight by a selected wine maker. £95 per person.

34 June– The Nello
A charity century and half-century cycle from Topsham Rugby Club over the roof of Exmoor and back, with all proceeds going to Force Cancer Charity. Nello Ghezzo was an inspirational Topsham restaurateur.

30 June– 1 July – Topsham Food Festival and Nello’s Longest Table
A highlight of the Topsham year: on Saturday there will be food happenings all around the town, including an artisan market, chef demonstrations, street food and live music on Topsham Quay, followed by, on Sunday, the 5th Nello’s Longest Table, a communal street feast with more than 2000 people – residents and visitors alike – sitting down at one long communal table to share food (local and locally sourced of course), drink, family, friendship and community.

 6– 23 August – Salmon suppers at The Salutation Inn
Sought-after River Exe salmon is a prize of the sea and a source of pride for Topsham. Diners are able to taste this local rarity at The Salutation, thanks to Tom’s father, Ed Williams-Hawkes having access to one the few boats permitted to catch salmon in the Exe. You’ll see him walking the catch to the restaurant during the summer months, ready for Tom to lovingly prepare and serve four outstanding courses of River Exe seafood. From £34.50 per person between Monday and Thursday, subject to availability.

 5 – 22 November – Game time at The Salutation Inn
Between Monday and Thursday, the team will be serving a seasonal four-course British game menu including venison, wood pigeon and pheasant. £34.50 per person
