Every town needs informal dining venues that are casual and family-friendly. Marcello’s Ristorante is just such a place. It’s warm, friendly and welcoming and serves mainly Italian and Italian-inspired foods, including good homemade pasta and pizza, as well as some succulent fish and meat dishes.

The short wine-list is well-sourced and reasonably priced.

For parties and large groups, there is a private dining room upstairs that can accommodate up to 20.

From Tuesdays to Thursdays, pizza is available to take away.
