For a short time in 2017, the Lord Nelson closed down and it seemed our town was on the verge of losing yet another of our precious pubs (remember The King’s Head on Higher Shapter Street, The Malt Scoop on White Street, The Steam Packet on Monmouth Hill, The London & Southwesterner on Fore Street – all now gone).

The Lord Nelson lives on, completely rejuvenated and more welcoming than ever, offering a good selection of beer and wine, and, now with an attractive menu of smokehouse foods from The Goose & Gander, including burgers, ribs, steaks and salads.

The Lord Nelson is situation on Topsham High Street just before the entrance into Fore Street.
